Day 01, Saturday, 19 October 2024 (D)
India to Cappadocia! Welcome to Istanbul! You'll arrive from India. From there, you'll be catching a connecting flight to Kayseri. After that, you'll be picked up and taken to the beautiful Cappadocia region, where you'll stay overnight. A delicious local dinner will be served at your hotel in Cappadocia. Enjoy your stay!
Day 02, Sunday, 20 October 2024 (B, L, D)
Regional tour of Cappadocia Today, we're going to tour the area and visit some of its most famous and beautiful landmarks. First, we'll start by visiting the Zelve Open Air Museum, where you'll see some of the region's unique fairy chimneys, cave dwellings, and rock-cut churches. Next, we'll head to the Devrent Valley, where you'll see some of the most unique and unusual rock formations in the area. After that, we'll take a short trip to Pasabag (Monk's Valley), where you can see the hermit cells carved into the rock. We'll then head to Avanos, which is famous for its pottery. You'll have the opportunity to see the pottery-making process and purchase some beautiful handcrafted pottery. Finally, we'll end the day by visiting Uchisar Rock Castle, which offers a panoramic view of the entire Cappadocia region. At dinner time, we will enjoy a delicious hotel dinner. It will be an unforgettable day, and we can't wait to show you around and discover the unique beauty of Cappadocia.
Day 03, Monday,21 October 2024 (B, L, D)
Cappadocia Underground City Tour Today, we're going to tour the region's underground cities and explore some of its most famous landmarks. First, we'll start by visiting the Underground City, where you'll see the unique underground dwellings carved out of the rock. Next, we'll head to the Red Valley for a trekking adventure through the beautiful red rock formations. After that, we'll take a short trip to Cavusin Village, known for its well-preserved rock-cut houses and churches. We'll then head to Pigeon Valley, where you'll see the unique pigeon houses carved into the rock and enjoy the stunning view of the valley. At lunchtime, we will enjoy a delicious traditional Turkish lunch. Finally, we'll end the day by visiting Ortahisar Castle, which offers a panoramic view of the entire Cappadocia region. After a day of exploring the fantastic sights of Cappadocia, we have an extra special treat in store for you. Your driver will take you to attend the Saruhan Whirling Dervish Show. This traditional dance performance is performed by the Sufi Mevlevi order's followers, also known as the "whirling dervishes." The show usually takes about an hour, and it is an incredible opportunity to experience Turkey's rich culture and history. Could you ensure you have your cameras ready, as it will be unforgettable? It's going to be an exciting and cultural day, and we can't wait to share this experience with you. Local dinner is served at the hotel.
Day 04, Tuesday,22 October 2024 (B, L, D)
Cappadocia to Kusadasi The next step of your journey is almost here! Your driver will take you to the airport for your flight, with a departure from Kayseri at 8:25 am and an arrival in Izmir at 10:00 am. Once you arrive in Izmir, you'll be picked up and heading to Kusadasi, a beautiful coastal town known for its picturesque beaches and crystal-clear waters. You'll be staying in a hotel with a sea view; it's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view after a full day of activities. It will be a wonderful day, and we are sure you will love the view from your hotel.
Day 05, Wednesday, 23 October 2024 (B, L, D)
Ephesus and Sirince Village Tour Welcome to the ancient city of Ephesus! Today, we're going to tour this historic site and explore some of its most famous landmarks. First, we'll start by visiting the Ephesus Ancient City, where you'll see the well-preserved ruins of this once-great city, including the Celsus Library, the Great Theater, and the Temple of Hadrian. Next, we'll head to the Artemis Temple, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and see the temple's remains. After that, we'll take a short trip to Isa Bey Mosque, known for its unique blend of Seljuk and Ottoman architecture. We'll then head to Sirince Village, a charming traditional village with lovely stone houses, cobblestone streets and fruit gardens. You'll have the opportunity to see the traditional lifestyle of the village and taste the local wines. At lunchtime, we will enjoy a delicious traditional Turkish lunch included in the tour.
Day 06, Thursday, 24 October 2024 (B, L, D)
Aphrodisias Tour Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, hop in the car and take a scenic drive to Aphrodisias. Once you arrive, take a tour of the ancient city and marvel at the beautiful ruins. After the tour, enjoy a tasty local lunch before hitting the road again and heading to Pamukkale for an overnight stay.
Day 07, Friday,25 October 2024 (B, L)
Pamukkale Tour. Get ready for a jam-packed day of adventure and history! After breakfast, start your full-day tour of Pamukkale with a visit to the Red Water, Karahayit and Hierapolis Ancient City. Explore the Necropolis. After that, you will be able to indulge in a delicious local lunch, including in the tour and marvel at the Hot Spring Pools (Travertines) and even take a dip in the Antique Pool (swimming is an extra option). It will be a day you won't forget! After the tour, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Istanbul. Once you arrive, a driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel for the night.
Day 08, Saturday,26 October 2024 (B, L)
Bosphorus Cruise and Two Continents Tour Explore the city and discover the beauty of the Bosphorus Strait on a boat cruise. We'll start the tour with a visit to the colorful Spice Bazaar, where you can find various exotic spices and Turkish delights. Then, we'll head to the grand Dolmabahce Palace and admire its beautiful architecture. After that, we'll take a trip to Camlica Hill and enjoy the panoramic view of the Bosphorus Strait. Finally, we'll pass by Ortaköy, where you'll see the beautiful mosque and lively streets. Indian Lunch included.
Day 09, Sunday ,27 October 2024 (B, L, D)
Istanbul Old City Tour Tour Istanbul's Old City and discover the rich history of Byzantine and Ottoman relics. Our first stop will be at the iconic Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of architecture and engineering. Next, we'll visit the Topkapi Imperial Palace, where you'll explore the palace and its ex-harem. Afterwards, we'll walk around the Hippodrome and see the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column and the German Fountain of Wilhelm II. Then, we'll visit the Blue Mosque (Mosque of Sultanahmet), a stunning example of Ottoman architecture. Finally, we'll end the tour with a visit to the Grand Bazaar (Covered Market), where you can shop for souvenirs and discover the local culture. Full-day tour of Istanbul. And to end the day, enjoy an evening Bosphorus cruise with dinner, with Indian Lunch included on this day.
Day 10, Monday, 28 October 2024
Istanbul Departure Good morning! Free day on your own exploring the city and all its sights. Then, you'll have some free time until 4 pm to do some shopping or relax. At 4 pm, we'll meet back at the hotel and head to the airport for your flight back home.
