Itinerary

Day 01

Saturday 19 May 2018

Your flight of Kenya Airways departs from Mumbai at 0635 hours and reaches Nairobi at 1010 hours. Breakfast will be served on board. On arrival pick up and transfer for lunch followed by visit to Nairobi Museum. There after proceed to Safari Park Hotel. Dinner and dance show at Safari Park Hotel.

Day 02

Sunday 20 May 2018

Check out after breakfast and drive to Ol Pejeta ranch, this luxurious tented camp is situated on the Equator. En-route you will stop at the Equator and experience a interesting experiment, Corolois Effect and also a photo opportunity with one leg in North and another in South Hemisphere.

At Ol Pejeta you can view a variety of animals coming to the water hole, situated in front of the tents. Post afternoon refreshments proceed for game drive including visit to the Jane Godall Chimpanzee sanctuary. You also have an opportunity for night game drive (Optional). Stay at Ol Pajeta.

Day 03

Monday 21 May 2018

After breakfast drive back to the Aberdare Country Club, collect your main luggage and then proceed. You will visit the Thompsons Falls enroute and continue to the Rift Valley lake. Lake Nakuru boasts the most spectacular of all of Africa’s bird sights – enormous flocks of pastel pink flamingoes, as well as other bird species. Here you have wonderful opportunities for photography as masses of pink bodies glide above the reflection of blue water. Your afternoon game drive takes you through the lush green park that surrounds the lake. Stay at Lion’s Hill lodge

Day 04

Tuesday 22 May 2018

Early morning, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride. Take breakfast and then proceed to Masai Mara. Enroute you will visit Great Rift Valley view point. You will be reaching the lodge by early evening. Check in and relax for rest of the day.

The Masai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most precious wildlife sanctuary. This is big Game country and long famed as one of Africa’s greatest concentrations of game. Plains game is found here in staggering numbers, which in turn supports a tremendous predator population. Stay at Mara Serena Loge.

Day 05

Wednesday 23 May 2018

Those opting for the balloon safari will have a sun rise balloon ride over the vast Mara plains. You will be given bush breakfast where the balloon lands and then join others who will already out for the safari from the lodge. Post lunch relax for some time and then proceed for evening safari.

In the afternoon you have a chance to visit the Masai settlement at additional cost

Mara is the northern-most extremity of the great Serengeti ecosystem. Here, black rhino browse among dense thorn bushes and herds of giraffe and elephant roam the woodlands. Nestled under canvas, tonight you’ll dream of all the wonders of Africa. Stay at Mara Serena.

Thursday 24 May 2018

 Take pack breakfast and proceed for a short game drive and then continue to Nairobi. On reaching Nairobi, you will have lunch at Eka Hotel where you will stay overnight. Dinner will be on your own.

Friday 25 May 2018

Transfer to airport for flight to Livingstone. On arrival, pick up and transfer to Avani Zambezi Sun for stay on bed and breakfast basis.

Immediately proceed for a guided walking tour of the falls from Zambian side. On return to the hotel, check in. Stay in Zambezi Sun on bed and breakfast basis.

Saturday 26 May 2018

Take breakfast and proceed for13 minute helicopter ride over the falls. Then you have free time for optional activities like microlight flight over the falls or bungee jump. Evening you take the sunset cruise on Zambezi. Stay Avani Zambezi Sun

After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Johannesburg. After immigration, transfer to domestic terminal for your flight to Cape Town. On arrival, transfer to hotel, with detour via Long Street. Overnight : The Commodore, on Bed & breakfast basis

Monday 28 May 2018

After breakfast start for full day tour visiting the beautiful city of Cape Town. Visit Hout bay – once a fishing community, now a popular residential area with spectacular ocean view. From here board onto a cruise to Seal Island and stroll along mariners wharf.

Then proceed to visit the enchanting African (Jackass) penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Drive along the Cape Peninsula to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, which extends along 40km of coastline and leads to Cape Point. According to Sir Francis Drake “the fairest cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the globe”. Ascend to the point by funicular. Finish with a visit to the famous Botanical Garden at Kirstenbosch. Overnight: The Commodore on bed and breakfast basis. Lunch and dinner on your own.

Tuesday 29 May 2018

After breakfast visit to Table Mountain and then proceed to Stellenbosch. It is one of the most beautiful towns of South Africa and is also very famous for its award winning wines. It is the second-oldest and undoubtedly the most scenically attractive and historically preserved town in southern Africa. You will tour through the winelands and visit one of the wine estates to see the process of wine making and tasting a few of them. Visit the Taal Monument in Paarl. Overnight: Basse Provence on Bed & Breakfast Basis. Lunch and dinner on your own

Wednesday 30 May 2018

Take early breakfast & start for Oudtshoorn via the scenic town of Worcester. The towns of Oudtshoorn and De Rust are in the Klein Karoo between the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains. Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world. You will visit the ostrich farm where you learn everything of the world’s biggest bird. You can also ride on an ostrich, shop from the curios and even taste its meat. If it is a clear night, star-gazing can be arranged (optional). Overnight:  De Denne Guest House on Bed, Breakfast & Dinner basis.

Thursday 31 May 2018

After breakfast visit the famous Cango Caves, a series of magnificent, glittering limestone caverns fashioned over millennia beneath the foothills of the Swartberg Range. Proceed to Swarberg Pass from Oudtshoorn; which is a scenic drive through the Cango Valley. Visit Prince Albert; “The nothingness, the wide open spaces and the deafening stillness… balm for the soul at sunset.” … this is the magic of Prince Albert at the gateway to the Great Cango.

Later travel to Meiringspoort. The poort bears a tough history of floods and landslides amongst incredible hardships, yet engineers and road builders mastered the art of building a magnificent road through this awe-inspiring port.

Travel via Robinson Pass to Mossel Bay, where the Portuguese navigator, Bartholomew Diaz first set foot on the southern tip of South Africa. Visit the famous Post Office Tree Museum. This is the first post office in the world. Continue on to Knysna, a charming holiday town surrounded by forest, lakes, mountains and sea. Take ferry for a sunset cruise on the Knysna lagoon and meet the famous Knysna heads.

After breakfast transfer to George airport for your flight MN 904 leaving George at 0900 flight reaches Johannesburg at 1100. After reaching Johannesburg visit to Gold reef city mine tour & then visit the Nelson Mandela Square after which you will be transferred to airport for return flight.

Mandatory

  • You need to get yourself inoculated against Yellow fever. Due to scarcity of this vaccine in India, it is recommended that you do this in advance. Note privately administered vaccine is not permitted by Indian immigration and customs. Contact us for more information on this. You have to take this vaccine at your own cost. Polio vaccine and certification is also mandatory.
  • Anti – Malaria tablets. We will provide you these tablets, you may contact your physician for the same.
  • Passport valid for a minimum of 06 months from date of return and at least two blank pages

  • Cancellation done between 44 to 20 days prior to departure – 60% of total cost per person
  • Cancellation done between 19 to 10 days prior to departure – 85% per person
  • Cancellation done between 9 days & no show – 100% per person
