Monday 16 September 2019Phuentsholling to Thimphu drive (142KM/ 4hrs)
The drive from Phuentsholling to Thimphu now, following the new bypass, takes only 4hrs through a beautiful landscape, waterfalls, scattered villages. Meet your guide again late afternoon to visit few places.
After lunch enjoy a visit to Thimphu Dzong and closing ceremony of National Flag. You can also drive to the spectacular night view point of the Dzong. Night photography is fabulous from this point.
Overnight at Thimphu- Namgay heritage or Hotel Arya.

Day 04
Tuesday 17 September 2019Thimphu Day sightseeing:
This morning you will start the day by visiting the National memorial chorten (shrine) a monument dedicated to the 3rd king. Visit Traditional Painting School, a school for Bhutan’s 13 traditional Arts and craft. Visit Textile weaving, it’s worth a visit to get to know the living national art of weaving. After lunch short drive to upper Thimphu to see the national animal Takin also you will be able to walk around here. The place has a very romantic aura. In the evening you will be free to visit the craft market, which houses local crafts from all over Bhutan.

Wednesday 18 September 2019Thimphu – Punakha 77km /2 hrs
This morning after breakfast drive towards Punakha through Dochula pass /Alt:10142ft,
this pass offers panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain ranges. As we descend, one will witness the jaw-dropping view of the series of curved winding road to the fertile valley of Punakha / Alt: 4430ft. Before proceeding further to Punakha town, we will take a short 45 minute’s walk to Chimi Lakhang– a temple on a small hill top. This temple is dedicated to the great yogi in 14th century known as Drukpa Kuenly or popularly known as “Divine Madman” and also known as temple of fertility. Later a visit to Punakha Dzong.

Thursday 19 September 2019Punakha – Paro 123km /4hrs
Post breakfast drive to Paro. Stop at Dochula Pass, 108 Druk wangyal chorten .
On the way to Paro a visit to Simtokha Dzong will be worth trying. Simtokha Dzong, also known as Sangak Zabdhon Phodrang is a small Dzong. It was built in 1629 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, who unified Bhutan. It is the first of its kind built in Bhutan. Resume drive to Paro. After check into the hotel and refreshment visit Kichu Lhakhang- one of the oldest and beautiful temples. Evening walk around the town or you can have dinner outside if you are up to it. Overnight at Paro.- Raven Nest or similar.

Friday 20 September 2019Paro Hike Tiger nest
After breakfast start the day with short drive to Paro’s upper valley. On a clear day you’ll have an unforgettable view of the “Goddess” Mt.Chomolhari at 23,640 feet. Afterward, it’s a short drive to Taksang trail head. Hike to Taksang Monastery, the most famous monastery in Bhutan. Taksang means “Tiger Nest” so named because Guru Rimpoche reportedly flew to the site on the back of a flying tiger late in the 7th century. Between blue pines and a blue sky, the monastery perches miraculously on a cliff nearly 2,700feet above Paro’s valley floor. Break along the way for tea and snacks in small tea house. Evening enjoy a Bhutanese cultural program.
