Post breakfast meet your driver and guide at 09:00 in hotel lobby for full-day excursion in the Sacred Valley visiting the archaeological complex at Pisac with amazing scenery and visit the local agricultural open-market where artisans from all over the area congregate to sell their crafts. Enjoy a buffet lunch at the Tunupa Restaurant and visit the impressive Ollantaytambo Fortress and its Inca town.

Post breakfast meet your driver and guide at 10:00 in hotel lobby for full-day excursion to further explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the town of Chinchero, which appears in the middle of the puna. Around the main square, the remains of an Inca wall and the frescoes on the portico of the Colonial church can be observed.
The excursion continues to Maras, the principal salt production center since Inca times. Extraordinary spectacle of the terraced white salt mines. At a short distance, towards the west are the circular terraces of Moray built by the Incas in order to create different micro- climates for agricultural purposes. After visit, continue to rail station.

Early morning depart by bus on a zigzag road up to Machu Picchu, which sits majestically between the mountains of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu in the most unreachable area of the Urubamba River. Visit the Inca citadel. The Inca citadel is divided into two sectors, at the northern part was the urban sector and at the southern the agricultural sector. These sectors were constructed on a natural division due to a geological fault.
Terrain of the agricultural sector was adapted to grow crops. They built more than 700 terraces by cutting part of the mountain vertically to make a flat horizontal terrain suited for agriculture and to prevent soil erosion. They also created a water management system for irrigation. The urban sector was located at the north and was divided into the Sacred, Loyalty and Popular Districts.
After guided tour, time to explore on your own; then descend by bus to the town. Board your train back. Upon arrival at station take transfer to hotel.

Today we have full-day excursion starting at 0700 hrs. to the native Uros communities located on man-made floating islands in the lake. The Uros people live totally interwoven with the “Totora” reed which grows abundantly in the shallows of the lake.
Continue to Taquile. The community here lives in perfect harmony with the environment. “Taquileños” wear colorful traditional clothes which they make themselves and maintain a strong air of group individuality.

Early morning start for ICA at 07:00 hrs., drive on the Pan American Highway through the coastal valleys and desert southern Lima.
Arrival at Ica airport for overflight of the mysterious Nasca Markings, which can only be seen from air. Visit its interesting Regional Museum which has on exhibition objects of the ancient Paracas and Nasca cultures that developed in that area.
Enjoy also the Huacachina oasis and drive to the Paracas Bay. (Drive from Lima to Ica 4:30hrs. approx., and between Ica and Paracas, 1 hr approx..)

Morning drive back to Lima. Time at leisure till 14:00 hrs. Then proceed for Tour of Colonial and Modern Lima passing by outstanding monuments such as the Government Palace, the City Hall and the Cathedral at the Plaza Mayor. Visit the Cathedral and the San Francisco Convent. Continue with tour of the modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores where there is a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. Then proceed to the Pueblo Libre District to visit the Larco Museum, since 1926 the world’s largest private collection of pre- Columbian art with a unique assortment of erotic pottery, genuine and rich jewels in gold, silver and semi-precious stones.
The museum holds 45,000 pieces of ceramics plus genuine mummies and marvelous Paracas textiles. (Duration: 5 hours).

Take flight from Lima to Iquitos airport. Reception at the airport, brief city orientation and transfer to the Explorama dock. Twenty-five mile journey down the Amazon River to Ceiba Tops where private rooms with air conditioning and hot water provide all of the comforts of home. Afternoon hike in the beautiful primary rainforest reserve surrounding Ceiba Tops which includes many huge trees festooned with epiphytes. After dinner your guide will take you on a short walk to a small lake where caiman can be spotted at night and where you can find some of the insects and frogs that produce the cacophony of sounds that begin after dark.

Today you have morning boat ride, spotting for dolphins, to visit a small village of Yagua Indians where your guide will explain the Yagua Indian culture and how it was affected by the arrival of Europeans and the passing of time. There will also be an opportunity to see some of the local crafts and for a demonstration of the blowgun which some of the Yagua elders still use for hunting. Afternoon walking excursion to the neighboring town of Indiana. Originally a Franciscan mission, Indiana has grown into a large river community with its own market, high school and small hospital.

Early morning departure from Ceiba Tops by boat to the narrow motorcar crossing connecting the Amazon and Napo Rivers to continue by boat to ExplorNapo Lodge for breakfast. Hike to the spectacular Canopy Walkway spanning over 500 meters (one-third of a mile), connected by tree platforms, and reaching a height of over 35 meters (115 feet) but accessible without any type of climbing skill or equipment. After lunch, visit the “ReNuPeRu” Ethnobotanical Garden where over 240 medicinal plants are cultivated by a local shaman who will explain the nature of Amazonian natural healing and the uses of some of the plants. Return to Ceiba Tops in time to enjoy the pool or hammocks before dinner.
