The strikingly beautiful snow leopard remains one of the most mysterious cats in the world. This roving, high altitude cat is rarely sighted and because it is so elusive. The Government of India has identified the snow leopard as a flagship species for the high-altitude Himalayas. The snow leopard is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN-World Conservation Union’s Red List of the Threatened Species.

Arrive and stay Chandigarh. Accommodation will be on bed and breakfast basis.

Early morning, post breakfast proceed to Rampur. Lunch will be enroute and dinner in the heritage lodge in Rampur. Today’s travel is about 250 km, taking around 8 hours.
Day 03
Wednesday 16 March 2022
Today as well we will set off early morning to Kibber. Distance of 350 km takes the day. Lunch will be enroute. Dinner & over night at the lodge from where we will be doing the excursions to spot the snow leopard for the next few days.

Day 4 to 7, 17 to 20 March 2022, Thursday to Sunday
Snow leopard exploration
Kibber is a small village in the Spiti valley, situated at 14200 ft and is home to the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Kibber is prime area to spot the snow leopard and is rich with high altitude wildlife.
The local team comprises of expert snow leopard trackers, cooks, drivers, porters who will work behind the scene to ensure that you get the best opportunities to see the snow leopard.

After breakfast, we start our drive back to Rampur. Stay at heritage lodge.

Drive to Chandigarh & stay on bed and breakfast basis.

Transfer to airport for flight to your home town.
