South Africa With Victoria Falls & Kenya

Day 01

Reach Mumbai International Airport for your flight KQ 205 from Mumbai at 0635 hrs and reach Cape Town at 2135 hrs via Nairobi & Johannesburg. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Stay at Strand Towers or similar on BB basis

Day 02

After breakfast start for full day tour visiting the beautiful city of Cape Town.

Start with visit of the famous Botanical Garden at Kirstenbosch. Then to Hout bay – once a fishing community, now a popular residential area with spectacular ocean view. From here board onto a cruise to Seal Island and stroll along mariners wharf.

Then proceed to visit the enchanting African (Jackass) penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Drive along the Cape Peninsula to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, which extends along 40km of coastline and leads to Cape Point, where some say the oceans meet. According to Sir Francis Drake “the fairest cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the globe”. Ascend to the point by funicular.

Overnight at Strand Tower on bed and breakfast basis. Lunch and dinner on your own.

Day 03

After breakfast visit to Table Mountain and then proceed to Stellenbosch. It is one of the most beautiful towns of South Africa and is also very famous for its award winning wines. It is the second-oldest and undoubtedly the most scenically attractive and historically preserved town in southern Africa.

You will tour through the winelands and visit one of the wine estates to see the process of wine making and tasting a few of them.

Overnight at Basse Provence on Bed & Breakfast Basis. Lunch and dinner on your own

Day 04

Take early breakfast & start for Oudtshoorn via the scenic town of Worcester. The towns of Oudtshoorn and De Rust are in the Klein Karoo between the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains. Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world.

You will visit the ostrich farm where you learn everything of the world’s biggest bird. You can also ride on an ostrich, shop from the curios and even taste its meat. Overnight:  De Denne Guest House on Bed, Breakfast & Dinner basis.

Day 05

After breakfast visit the famous Cango Caves, a series of magnificent, glittering limestone caverns fashioned over millennia beneath the foothills of the Swartberg Range.

Proceed to Swarberg Pass from Oudtshoorn; which is a scenic drive through the Cango Valley. Visit Prince Albert; “The nothingness, the wide open spaces and the deafening stillness… balm for the soul at sunset.” … this is the magic of Prince Albert at the gateway to the Great Cango.

Later travel to Meiringspoort. The poort bears a tough history of floods and landslides amongst incredible hardships, yet engineers and road builders mastered the art of building a magnificent road through this awe-inspiring poort. Overnight at De Denne Guest House on Bed, Breakfast & Dinner basis

Day 06

Travel via Robinson Pass to Mossel Bay, where the Portuguese navigator, Bartholomew Diaz first set foot on the southern tip of South Africa. Visit the famous Post Office Tree Museum. This is the first post office in the world.

Continue on to Knysna, a charming holiday town surrounded by forest, lakes, mountains and sea. Take ferry for a sunset cruise on the Knysna lagoon and meet the famous Knysna heads. Overnight at  Knysna Log Inn on Bed & Breakfast Basis

Day 07

(B)

After breakfast transfer to George airport for your flight MN 910 leaving George at 1015 & reaching Johannesburg at 1200. After reaching Johannesburg you will be transferred to Sun City. Stay at Cabana on BB basis.

Day 08

(B)

Early morning game drive at Pilesburg national park. After breakfast pack up and travel back to Johannesburg. Stay near airport on BB basis.

Day 09

(B)

Transfer to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Livingstone.

On reaching Livingstone at 1220, pick up and transfer to Zambezi Sun where you stay on bed and breakfast basis. Dinner on your own.

Day 10

(B)

After breakfast you have the guided walking tour of the falls from Zambian side. Return to the hotel and proceed for helicopter ride. Evening you take the sunset cruise on Zambezi. Stay in Zambezi Sun on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 11

(B)

Take flight KQ 783 from Livingstone at 1800 hrs to Nairobi reaching at 2200. Pick up and transfer to Safari Park hotel for stay on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 12

(B,L,D)

You will be transferred to Nairobi city for lunch. After lunch visit Nairobi Museum and proceed to Safari Park Hotel. Dinner and dance show at Safari Park Hotel.

Day 13

(B,L,D)

Check out after breakfast and drive north towards the equator to Ol Pajeta ranch. Ol Pajeta luxurious tented camp is situated on the Equator. You can view a variety of animals coming to the water hole, situated in front of the tents. Post afternoon refreshments, proceed for game drive. You also have an opportunity for night game drive (Optional). Stay at Ol Pajeta

Day 14

After breakfast drive to Samburu National Park. It is semi-arid region having exclusive wild life and bird life. You will reach for lunch. Post afternoon refreshments, proceed for evening game drive. Stay at Samburu lodge

Day 15

(B,L,D)

Today you have morning and evening game drives. You can observe Samburu’s unusual wildlife with a lot of variety. Optional Samburu village visit is also possible. At end of the day, you’ll savor the quiet activity around the river. Stay at Samburu lodge

Day 16

(B,L,D)

After breakfast drive back to Aberdare Country Club to collect your baggage. Then start your journey for Lake Nakuru. En-route you will visit Thomson fall and reach by lunch time. Lake Nakuru itself boasts the most spectacular of all of Africa’s bird sights – enormous flocks of pastel pink flamingoes, as well as other bird species. Here you have wonderful opportunities for photography as masses of pink bodies glide above the reflection of blue water. Your afternoon game drive takes you through the lush green park that surrounds the lake. Stay at Lion’s Hill lodge

Day 17

After breakfast drive back to Aberdare Country Club to collect your baggage. Then start your journey for Lake Nakuru. En-route you will visit Thomson fall and reach by lunch time. Lake Nakuru itself boasts the most spectacular of all of Africa’s bird sights – enormous flocks of pastel pink flamingoes, as well as other bird species. Here you have wonderful opportunities for photography as masses of pink bodies glide above the reflection of blue water. Your afternoon game drive takes you through the lush green park that surrounds the lake. Stay at Lion’s Hill lodge

Day 18

After breakfast you will start your journey to Kenya’s most famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most precious wildlife sanctuary. This is big Game country and long famed as one of Africa’s greatest concentrations of game. Plains game is found here in staggering numbers, which in turn supports a tremendous predator population. After lunch you will go for afternoon game drive. Stay at Keekorok Lodge

Day 19

Today you have morning and evening game drive in Masai Mara. Here you have an opportunity to experience fascinating ‘Balloon Safari’ (Optional, at additional cost). In afternoon you can visit Masai village to see the tribe and their activities (Optional tour) The Masai Mara is the northern-most extremity of the great Serengeti ecosystem. Here, black rhino browse among dense thorn bushes and herds of giraffe and elephant roam the woodlands. Nestled under canvas, tonight you’ll dream of all the wonders of Africa. Day 20

After breakfast start your return journey to Nairobi. Enroute you will visit Great Rift Valley view point. Reach for lunch. After lunch proceed to visit the Giraffe Manor & then to airport for your return flight back home. Your flight KQ204 leaves at 2105 reaching next day at 0535 to Mumbai.
