Upington – Kgalagadi Trans Frontier Park
Take flight KQ 2015 from Mumbai at 0725 hrs and reach Johannesburg via Nairobi. Stay at Johannesburg

Sunday 04 December 2016
Kgalagadi Trans Frontier Park
Arrive at Upington Airport. Take 03 hours drive through the Kalahari duneveld (“veld” means natural vegetation), passing various pans (dry lakes), to the largest camp in Kgalagadi Trans Frontier Park, Twee Rivieren.
Depart on an afternoon game drive in the southern part of the Park. The Twee Rivieren area is known for lion, leopard, cheetah and meerkat sightings.
Dinner in the restaurant. Optional 3 hr sunset drive and 3 hr morning guided walk with Park rangers at own cost on all days.

Early morning game drive when the gates open. Brunch at Melkvlei picnic area. Continue game drive to Twee Rivieren. Light lunch in the restaurant. Dinner at restaurant.

Kgalagadi Trans Frontier Park
Early morning game drive when the gate opens along the Auob River Valley direction Mata Mata on the Namibian Border. This is cheetah territory and is one the best, places in Southern Africa to see cheetah.
Brunch at Kamqua Picnic Area. Continue game drive to Twee Rivieren.
Light lunch at the restaurant. Time at leisure. Proceed for afternoon game drive.
Dinner at restaurant.

Kgalagadi – Augrabies Falls National Park
Check out and depart to Upington. Breakfast at restaurant outside the park.
En route stop at the last indigenous San tribe in South Africa, the Khomani.Continue to Augrabies Falls National Park, which covers 60 000 ha. En route visit to Tierberg Nature Reserve in Keimoes, from where one has a beautiful view of the lush green Orange River Valley.
Do a scenic game drive in this moon landscape-like land to awesome viewpoints such as Ararat, Oranjekom on the Orange River Gorge and the “Swartrante” (Black hills) from where one has a great view of this arid rocky desert landscape.
Dinner at restaurant.
Optional 2 hr sunset drive with Park rangers

Augrabies – Upington- Cape Town
Breakfast at the restaurant. Drive to Upington for flight to Cape Town.
On arrival to Cape Town transfer to hotel.
Overnight stay at Strand Towers on bed & breakfast basis. Lunch and dinner on your own.
Day 07
Friday 09 December 2016
After breakfast start for full day tour visiting the beautiful city of Cape Town.
Start with visit to Hout bay – once a fishing community, now a popular residential area with spectacular ocean view. From here board onto a cruise to Seal Island and stroll along mariners wharf.
Then proceed to visit the enchanting African (Jackass) penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
Drive along the Cape Peninsula to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, which extends along 40km of coastline and leads to Cape Point, where some say the oceans meet. According to Sir Francis Drake “the fairest cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the globe”. Ascend to the point by funicular.
Overnight: Strand Tower on bed and breakfast basis. Lunch and dinner on your own.

After breakfast visit of the famous Botanical Garden at Kirstenbosch and then proceed to Table Mountain and then to Stellenbosch. It is one of the most beautiful towns of South Africa and is also very famous for its award winning wines. It is the second-oldest and undoubtedly the most scenically attractive and historically preserved town in southern Africa.
You will tour through the winelands and visit one of the wine estates to see the process of wine making and tasting a few of them.

Take early breakfast & start for Oudtshoorn via the scenic town of Worcester. The towns of Oudtshoorn and De Rust are in the Klein Karoo between the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains. Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world.
You will visit the ostrich farm where you learn everything of the world’s biggest bird. You can also ride on an ostrich, shop from the curios and even taste its meat.

After breakfast visit the famous Cango Caves, a series of magnificent, glittering limestone caverns fashioned over millennia beneath the foothills of the Swartberg Range.
Proceed to Swarberg Pass from Oudtshoorn; which is a scenic drive through the Cango Valley. Visit Prince Albert; “The nothingness, the wide open spaces and the deafening stillness… balm for the soul at sunset.” … this is the magic of Prince Albert at the gateway to the Great Cango.
Later travel to Meiringspoort. The poort bears a tough history of floods and landslides amongst incredible hardships, yet engineers and road builders mastered the art of building a magnificent road through this awe-inspiring poort. Overnight: De Denne Guest House on Bed, Breakfast & Dinner basis

Travel to Mossel Bay, where the Portuguese navigator, Bartholomew Diaz first set foot on the southern tip of South Africa. Visit the famous Post Office Tree Museum. This is the first post office in the world.
Continue on to Knysna, travelling over the Outeniqua pass via George – the capital of the Garden Route. Knysna is a charming holiday town surrounded by forest, lakes, mountains and sea. Take ferry for a sunset cruise on the Knysna lagoon and meet the famous Knysna heads. Overnight: Knysna Log Inn on Bed & Breakfast Basis
